Emma Stone turned heads with a chic, sophisticated look at the 98th Oscar Nominees Luncheon on February 10, though some fans couldn’t help but comment on her evolving appearance.

Skipping her usual Louis Vuitton ensembles, she opted for a striking Julie de Libran creation: a long-sleeve black blazer-style minidress featuring a plunging neckline. The dress included satin lapels, a rosette detail at the center, and satin flap pockets on either side, balancing elegance with subtle drama. She completed the look with sheer tights and ankle-strap heels.

For her hair and makeup, the Poor Things kept things classic yet modern, wearing her signature red wavy lob and a soft coral lip, creating a polished, luminous finish.

While the 37-year-old looked stunning, fans online struggled to recognize her, with many speculating she’d had a mini facelift.

“She’s beautiful, but there’s just something that stops me in my tracks when I look at her. I guess all these procedures, although minor, really do make a difference,” said one user on Reddit. Another wrote, “I can never decide what it is that’s different now, but she just looks … different. 2016 is probably the last time I felt like she looked like ‘herself,’ and it’s not because it was a decade ago. She and Ryan Gosling have completely changed their faces since La La Land.

“I don’t want to be harsh, but she’s really starting to look so uncanny valley. I wish plastic surgery would stop being the beauty standard. She was perfect before she got any of it,” said another. “I’ll always think she was at her most beautiful in Easy A.I’m saddened to see how she’s changed in so many ways to fit Hollywood expectations,” added a fan.

“Watched Superbad the other day, and she looks like a completely different person now. Granted, half her face was obscured by bangs in that movie, but even then she was far more expressive,” commented another.

“Love the hair. Perfect length for her. Hate the unnecessary work done to her face,” said one. “Not a fan of a new face,” added another.

Emma Stone Makes Rare Comments About Her Daughter

More personally, Emma opened up about motherhood in rare comments about her daughter Louise, 4, during a feature with Rolling Stone. She was asked what’s currently on repeat in her household.

"To be quite honest with you, the thing that we've been listening to day-in and day-out, non-stop around the clock, because I have an almost 5-year-old, is the entire soundtrack of K-Pop Demon Hunters," said Stone. "It's all we listen to from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. "

She added that the whole family is completely hooked on the film. "It's out of control. It's all we do," she admitted.

"It's the entire lifeblood of this family. I also would be doing this, with or without having a 5-year-old. It has completely captured the imagination in a way that almost reminds me of, like, when I was growing up with the Spice Girls."

"It's like all we could think about, and all these kids now definitely are like, 'I'm Rumi, and you're Mira,' and it's the same way that we were like, 'I'm Baby Spice, and you're Ginger,' y'know?"

Stone and her husband, Dave McCary, welcomed their daughter, Louise Jean, in March 2021.
