The real fashion at the Loewe Fall/Winter 2023 show at Paris Fashion Week happened off the catwalk, as Emily Ratajkowski, who was attending the show as one of the FROW guests rather than as one of the models rocking the collection on the runway, commanded most of the attention with her head-turning ensemble.

Emily Ratajkowski Wears Faux Flower Top To Loewe’s Fall 2023 Paris Fashion Week Show
The 31-year-old My Body author made jaws drop when she arrived at the show on March 3rd, wearing what was essentially a giant faux green and pink anthurium flower in lieu of a top. According to creative director Jonathan Anderson’s show notes, as per Harper’s Bazaar, the anthurium flower was “a product of nature that looks like an object of design and [was] treated as such,” therefore becoming one of his main focuses for the collection.

For those wondering how the mom-of-one managed to keep such a top on, it appeared to have been fastened with metal straps that were painted green to blend in with the rest of the design. A true masterpiece!
Emily accessorized the work of art with some casual low-rise wide leg black pants, which allowed her to flaunt her toned midriff perfectly, and some nude-colored flat sandals. Her hair was worn up in a chic updo with some pieces of hair left out to softly frame her face, so as not to take any attention away from the flower top, and she opted for no jewelry, again, to let the top do all the talking!

Emily’s Look Divides Fans In The Comments Section
The High Low with EmRata podcast host proudly shared some snaps from the fashion show on her own Instagram account on March 4th, with the caption: “LOEWE anthurium for the brilliant @jonathan.anderson. Thank you for having me.” And many of her 29.8M Instagram followers (including a few famous friends!) couldn’t help but show her love for her look in the comments section!
“I’m obsessed [with you] in this color palette I can’t stop staring,” Gigi Hadid wrote, followed by a green heart emoji. “Ok well, this was a murderous slay,” Charli XCX added. “Best Dressed,” one of Emily’s followers wrote, followed by a number of fire emojis, while another said she was “stunning” and another called her an “icon.”
However, not everyone seemed to get the look, and weren’t shy of expressing their opinions in the same comments section. “Art is weird sometimes,” one fan wrote, followed by two fire emojis, which we guess means they still thought she rocked it! “People aren’t gonna like this,” added another, again, followed by a fire emoji, which we also assume means they liked it too! “They really ran out of ideas,” criticized one fan, while another asked, “What on earth is that?” “I just burst out laughing when I saw this. Sorry, I don’t wanna be mean,” commented another follower.
