No matter what the occasion, Culpo loves to stock up on healthy fruits and vegetables. However, on super important days -- like the Miss Universe 2012 pageant or for an important photo shoot -- pineapple is her must-have morning food.
The reason: pineapple is good for reducing inflammation and absolutely no one wants to be swollen while posing in a bikini.
“Pineapple reduces swelling. You’re filmed that one very special day of the pageant, and you want to make sure you’re as ready to go as you can be,” Culpo told Shape.
