The 39-year-old American Idol judge is also getting a lot of attention because she was honored with the Colleagues Champion of Children Award at the 35th Annual Colleagues Spring Luncheon & Oscar de la Renta Fashion Show on Thursday, April 25th. She received the award for her work with the Firework Foundation, an organization which she launched with her sister “to empower children from underserved communities by igniting their inner light through the arts,” according to the website.

The mom-of-one attended the ceremony with her parents Keith Hudson and Mary Perry; and the outfit she wore to accept the award will live rent-free in our minds for many months to come!
The "Dark Horse" singer looked stunning on the red carpet, wearing a white halter-neck dress by Oscar de la Renta, complete with intricate floral lace detailing and a racy exposed back.
She accessorized with simple white heels to complement the dress, and wore her raven locks in a sleek, straight, and undistracting down do, tucked behind her ears to let the dress command all of the attention. For makeup, she rocked a smoldering dark eye with fluffy eyelashes, a glowing complexion, and a dark nude lipstick.
