King Charles Calls Kate Middleton His ‘Beloved Daughter-In-Law’
King Charles has made no secret of his adoration for his eldest son Prince William‘s wife, and the mother of his three grandchildren Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. One of the most recent instances of King Charles praising the Princess of Wales came just last month, as he referred to her as his “beloved daughter-in-law” during a speech at a state banquet in Kenya.
During an October 2023 speech at the banquet, which he attended with his wife, Queen Camilla, the King reflected on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ history with the country, and referenced how it was the location of their engagement. “It was here, in sight of Mount Kenya, that my son, The Prince of Wales, proposed to his wife, now my beloved daughter-in-law,” King Charles said in his speech.

TikTok user @royal_secrets24 used part of the speech in a video which was shared to the platform on October 31st, which also featured pictures and videos of some of the King and Princess of Wales' most affectionate public moments.
