Ex-Royals Attend Events Separately
Prince harry has made a number of solo appearances recently all over the world, including in new York, London, and Lesotho. Sources present at the events noted that Harry looked happy on his own. "People noticed this was a more relaxed Harry. He was smiling and clearly relishing meeting with people about tihngs that really matter to him."
At the beginning of the month, Meghan Markle attended the Children's Hospital Los Angeles 2024 Gala on her own, wearing a stunning red dress to the fabulous event that raised nearly $5M. Royal author Phil Dampier reported on the event, explaining that Meghan's solo appearance was actually a statement.
"Now we've seen Meghan on her own as well, just to sort of reinforce the fact that to some extent they seem to be leading separate lives—certainly on the sort of work front," he explained. "And she looked, I have to say, very relaxed. She looked very sort of happy."
Prince Harry Wants A Break
While they seem to be mutually agreeing on this professional split, some sources are reporting that Prince Harry might want even more separation than that. "Harry's given up so much for this marriage—his family, his home, friends," a source explained. "There's this feeling he's been striving to make Meghan happy at the expense of his own happiness."
The source continued explaining that Meghan has been holding him back, describing her as "very opinionated" and a "control freak."
"It's fairly obvious that he's decided to spread his wings and branch out and do things on his own," the source concluded.
