Prince Harry Reportedly Has 'More To Tell' After 'Spare' And Meghan Markle's Book 'Will Almost Certainly Be Next'

It’s been 11 months since Prince Harry‘s bombshell memoir Spare hit the shelves; and royal experts are already talking about the possibility of him releasing a sequel in the not-so-distant future as there is “plenty more” for him to reveal.

We already know that the Duke of Sussex, 39, has more than enough material for at least one more book, as he made it clear in an interview with The Telegraph that there are many things he omitted from Spare as he feared his family’s reactions. His exact words were at the time: “It could have been two books, put it that way. And the hard bit was taking things out. There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don’t want the world to know. Because I don’t think they would ever forgive me.”

However, now that the feud with his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William, is far from over and actually seemingly getting worse, royal experts think that he could very well be tempted to release a second book with even more juicy secrets!

Could Prince Harry Release A 'Spare' Sequel?

"There is plenty more for Harry to tell," The King: The Life of Charles III author Christopher Andersen told Fox News Digital, before going on to suggest that "racism inside the palace" could be explored further.

"For starters, I reported in my books Brothers and Wives and The King that it was Charles whose rather benign remarks about what a child of Harry's and [his wife] Meghan's might look like sparked charges of racism within the royal family," Andersen continued, adding: "But Harry has thus far refused to elaborate on this episode, which leads me to believe there may have been other examples of racism inside palace walls that he may not be willing to share."

"The tension between [Prince] William and Harry is palpable, and the resentment runs far deeper than anyone suspected," Andersen explained, adding, "Yet it's not entirely clear why there is so much bad blood between the brothers. There must be far more to this aspect of the story as well."

As well as going into more detail about his relationship with his older brother, Andersen thinks that there are many other things the father-of-two could dish on in a potential second book. "There is much for Harry to reveal about what has been going on behind the scenes since his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, died and his father became king," he thought, before going on to say that Meghan Markle, 42, could also feature a lot more in a potential second book.

"And let's not forget that the Sussexes' adventures in the U.S. – their efforts at establishing their own global brand, coping with the pressures, having to deal with the opprobrium that has been heaped upon them – all of this is fairly rich material for any writer."

He added: "As long as there is money to be made – and lots of it – Harry will be spilling the royal beans jot by jot, volume by volume. I would be shocked to discover that Harry and Meghan have decided to live a quiet life in Montecito."

Meghan Markle's Book Could Be Coming Too

As well as featuring in Prince Harry's potential second memoir, Andersen also predicted that a Meghan Markle memoir will "almost certainly" be coming soon, despite nothing being officially announced yet. "Her autobiography will almost certainly be up next, and we'll have to wait and see if she can be as candid as Harry was in Spare," Andersen speculated.

"I get the sense that there is some trepidation on the Sussexes' part because of the tremendous backlash triggered by the revelations in Spare," he continued, before going on to say that he strongly believes the former Suits actress will be desperate to release her own memoir to tell her side of the story.  He added: "Conversely, Meghan must be chomping at the bit to, as they say, 'set the record straight.' There is also that insatiable desire on the part of the Sussexes to be in the spotlight and at the same time get paid handsomely for it."
