Rihanna‘s new dramatic ‘do deserves a round of applause and standing ovation! Although the “Love on the Brain” singer, 35, is renowned for her vibrant style and ever-changing makeup, she has now taken a daring step and altered her trademark black locks for the first time in years.
Over dinner with friends in Los Angeles on November 9th, the Fenty Beauty mogul nonchalantly unveiled her transformation into a warm honey blonde.
During her nocturnal excursion, the mom of two flaunted her vibrant locks and contrasting roots through a voluminous blowout. As expected from the fashion icon, her outfit was far from ordinary.
To complement her recently dyed tresses, the “Diamonds” hitmaker donned a trench coat in a complementary shade of light brown, a gray hoodie underneath and dark jeans with a graphic print in the thigh-area.

Over the weekend, at the F1 Grand Prix of Las Vegas, Rihanna was also seen sporting her 90s-esque hairstyle, which featured her newly dyed tresses elegantly swept to the side. Her edgy outfit was composed of a black leather jacket, matching hoodie, and eye-catching, glimmering gray pantaleggings from Balenciaga.
As fans know, this isn’t the first time that the Grammy winner has sported a striking hair color or style. From multicolored spiky pixie cuts in the early 2000s to fiery red long waves in the 2010s, Rihanna has pulled off so many different and gorgeous ‘dos and hues. For the 2020s, however, we’ve mostly seen the “We Found Love” artist with her natural jet-black hair. That is, until now!
